
The VM600 Portable is intended for use in industrial environments where the portability and ruggedness of the system are essential, and when a permanent installation is not required.

The CPU M is a modular Central Processing Unit (CPU) card intended for use in Vibro-Meter's VM600 series of Machinery Protection System (MPS) and Condition Monitoring System (CMS) racks.
The modular, highly versatile design of the CPU M means that all rack configuration, display and communications interfacing can be performed from a single card.

The IOC N is a network communications card which includes two pairs of RJ11 connectors (labelled A and B) for configuring multi-drop RS-485 networks of VM600 racks, and another RJ45 connector for a redundant Ethernet connection. These extra connectors may be used if the optional Ethernet and RS-485 (RS-422) PC/104 modules have been installed on the CPU M.

The CMC 16 Condition Monitoring Card is the central element in Vibro-Meter’s VM600 series Condition Monitoring System (CMS). This intelligent front-end Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) is used in conjunction with the VM600 CMS software to acquire, analyse and transmit results to a host computer via the VM600 series CPU M module with Ethernet controller or directly via serial links.

The IOC 16T Input / Output Card acts as a signal interface for the VM600 series CMC 16 (Condition Monitoring Card). It is installed in the rear of an ABE 04X or ABE 055 (VM600 Portable) rack, and connects directly to the rack backplane via two connectors.


The VM600 Slimline is used to house hardware from Vibro-Meter’s VM 600 series of machinery protection systems and condition monitoring systems. This rack is particularly suitable for industrial environments, where equipment must be permanently installed in 19" cabinets or panels. Each rack has a standard height of 1U and provides mounting space for one VM 600 series card.
